Strawberry Jam

plucked strings float their music and
the soft rattle of dishes brings running cats

strawberry jam tops freshly baked bread
a warm mug of chai lifts my spirit

while dreams still whisper in my head
a glorious sunrise escorts morning

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One morning this week there was the most beautiful sunrise out my kitchen window.
I knew I wanted to remember it, so I decided to use  a few of the We Wordle words to
write about that brief sacred-feeling moment in my morning.
  7. it is a beautiful sunrise. I love this time of day and usually some of my better writing then as well because it is so quiet and filled with new promise. Strawberry jam….yum!
  8. This wordle seems to have inspired summer, gentle mornings, and breakfast…maybe it’s the strawberries. I love how you used some of the words to capture a single moment…the glorious sunrise seen from inside the kitchen window.
